An Easter to Remember!

What a special Easter we had. We made a quick trip to Utah to be with my sister and her family. We had such a wonderful time. The kids loved the Easter egg hunts, jumping on the trampoline, having an Egg rolling contest, and just being together. It was an Easter that we will always treasure!

On the Friday before Easter, I got to be an Auntie Helper in Dalton's Classroom. It was so fun getting to watch his darling teacher be in charge of 20 very busy and hyper Kindergarteners. The best part was that I could just stand back and watch HER be the teacher. The kids got to be "Easter Pigs" and collect the candy that we had thrown on the lawn instead of eggs. Easter Pigs are much messier than Easter Bunnies I learned:) So, what a special time it was for me to watch my precious nephew in his classroom and he was so proud to have his Meme and Mommy there too!

One Fast Flammin Derby Car!

We had so much fun as a family helping Brae make his car for the Cub Scout Pinewood Derby. What a project it was. Starting with a block of wood and turning it into a "Fast Flammin Derby car" was not as easy as we thought it would be. No 1st place trophy this time, but we sure had fun together.

What proud parents we are of our boys! Tyler is playing ball for his Junior High and had his second game today. He started at 2nd base and then moved to pitcher. He had one walk, one strike out, and a double. He was also excited that he struck two out while pitching. He has such a huge love of the game. He helped the Summit Charter Bears earn an 11-3 win.

Ready, Set, EGGS!!!!!!!!!

Cason had his Easter Egg Hunt today at preschool. He was so excited this morning and actually got himself out of bed on his own. Thank goodness for Papa again. He went to preschool and took a whole bunch of pictures for us to have. He is the best!
